I AM PROUD OF THE WOMAN I AM TODAY. I came from a broken home that was held together by my crazy mom. I’ve sat in the darkest places of my soul. I looked up with hope knowing I am meant for more and I, not anyone else, was selling myself short. I rose from situations I put myself in and continue to grow and learn from mistakes. Sorry, but I NEED to rant about the musical talent in my hometown.
I wish there was a way I could give some simple suggestions to the “rappers” of Fresno, CA.
- Buy a dictionary and thesaurus.
- If you really don’t have the lifestyle you rap about please pick another topic. There are plenty of rappers that have made a name for themselves with touching the topic of their lifestyles.
- DO NOT ACT LIKE YOU ALREADY BLEW UP IN YOUR MUSIC VIDEO. Humble music videos work too.
- Lie about the ish you’ve done and watch somebody Rick Ross you.
Now those are some simple SUGGESTIONS. Take it or leave it. I just can’t support some of the talent in my town. I don’t feel shit when I listen to their issh and that’s sad.
